Wagon Wheel Country Cafe: A Homestyle Haven for Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch

One of our favorite places to eat! If you're looking for real down-home country cooking, this is the place. Especially recommend the catfish and the brown beans. Not necessarily the fastest service, but the staff is all super friendly and treats everyone like family!

Ordered to go, asked for med rare hamburger steak with gravy on the side, I got well instead. Which makes it Super dry. But the mashed potatoes and gravy and the cabbage was good.

This is seriously the best food! Home cooking at the finest! The fried green tomatoes were amazing! Same with the tilapia! We had some fried Oreos for dessert! Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough! The only thing is maybe the bathroom needs an update and the ceilings had some condensation. It would be nice to have a changing table too for a baby. Other than that really good experience

Large parking lot. Lunch for 5. The better half had the fried boneless chicken breast with greenbeans and mashed potatoes. My daughter had the grilled chicken salad. My son-in-law ordered chicken. My wife's sister also.orded the chicken. And for myself , fried chicken livers. Sweet potatoes and cabbage. Down home goodness and comfort foods all in one order. The cornbread side was excellent. The brownie ice cream desert was excellent and large. No sugar-free desserts. But 7 different pies were offred.. The blackberry pie, according to the better half, was outstanding. She said light tasty and full of berries. The prices were more than fair. A military discount was provided.

Went Friday of BBB weekend and it was great!! Chicken fried steak blew our MI friend away. My tenders were so good (not frozen). Don’t remember what my husband had bc he ate it so fast.

Ok wow! What a CUTE little place! And bonus points for having meatloaf on the lunch menu! You don't see that very often, my husband was so thrilled. My son had an adorable kids pancake and they make them into different shapes. He loved that! My MIL had biscuits and gravy and said they were absolutely delicious. I personally, I know I'm boring, had the bacon cheese burger. What a splendid meal! And reasonably price also. I'm a sucker for a rustic place with miss mach decor. And it was very old fashioned and I absolutely loved it. It was very clear the place is popular in the local population as we barely got a table and it was packed the whole time we were there. The severs were super super nice and the cashier was wonderful. The only downfall was the servers kept stepping on each others toes and it was causing a little bit of issues with people getting their food and drinks correctly or sometimes someone would have to ask several times for silverware or dressing. But they were still super kind about it so I won't be too hard on them! It was busy as heck and there were only a couple of them so kudos to them! If you go here it will be money well spent! Will absolutely be coming back when I come back through the area.

Was a great time with Great friends. Highly recommend. Delicious food for a great price. The workers were amazing and the atmosphere was on point. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to eat here again. 10/10 stars. ⭐

What a wonderful genuinely country place. I had the pleasure of having Sheila as my server. The service and food were great. The country fried steak was tender and delicious. The tater tots were crisper to perfection and the gravy brought it all together. I would definitely recommend this place.
